The FX100 System offers a 70% increased holding capacity. It features the Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate combined with a steel-backed organic friction material disc. Designed for street-driven vehicles, this clutch provides extended wear and additional clamping force for enthusiasts who have added bolt-ons such as an intake, exhaust system, up to 50hp of nitrous (NO2), or other non-forced induction modifications. The pedal pressure is only slightly increased over factory settings, offering longer life than stock and a normal clutch feel with smooth engagement and disengagement. The complete kit includes a heavy-duty disc with steel-backed organic friction material and a Marcel spring wafer. Also included are an OEM or better release bearing, a pilot bearing (when applicable), alignment tool, instruction card, and decals. Organic, Kevlar, and Fiber-Tough clutch kits generally offer a higher life expectancy than OEM options, though this is not guaranteed. Factors such as installation quality, driving habits, performance modifications, break-in procedures, and the use of lightweight flywheels can affect overall durability.
